Our Rehabilitation Nursing Team

Our rehabilitation nursing team plays an important role in assessing and managing health issues associated with disability, illness and injury. Our nurses can support with such areas as continence and scripting; education and strategies to manage bladder and bowel issues; skin, pressure and wound management strategies; and medication advice.

Our Allied Health Clinicians

Our allied health clinicians include rehabilitation coordinators, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, clinical psychologists, exercise physiologists, social workers, dieticians, speech therapists, and music therapists. They will work closely with your rehabilitation specialist to determine how best to support you during your program.

Referrals

To participate in any of our programs, simply obtain a referral from your specialist or general practitioner. Referrals can be completed online at metrorehab.com.au or via fax on 02 9564 3064.

Fees & Charges 

MetroRehab Hospital has established contracts with all major health insurers and the Department of Veteran’s Affairs to minimise your costs. In many cases the fee is covered by the health insurer, however we encourage you to check with your fund if any additional charges apply to your health policy.
