Cancer and Exercise

Cancer and exercise

Exercise is beneficial for most people with cancer with little risk of harm and side effects (Cancer Council NSW). Cancer treatment causes a range of side effects such as fatigue and nausea, many of which can be reduced or eliminated with exercise.

That’s why MetroRehab Hospital is offering a Cancer Rehab Day Program for people going through chemo and/or radiotherapy or for those who have completed treatment and haven’t bounced back as expected.

Find out some of the benefits of exercise during cancer treatment on the latest Catalyst episode.

To find out information about our Cancer Rehab Day Program contact the Allied Health Manager on 0298585 4900.
